Requirements:

All that is required for clean and simple scrapbooking is a selection of photos, paper to paste the photo’s too (possibly a sketchbook, or a three ring binder with page protectors and paper), and double sided stick tape.

Choose those pictures that are your favorite, and set them aside.  Often times you will not want to cut your favorite pictures, but will want them in the page whole.  The next step of clean and simple scrapbooking is to pick those pictures that you have little or no hesitation cutting up.  You can crop your images to focus in on certain areas.

Image Collage:

Now, what gives clean and simple scrapbooking it’s unique and beautiful look is cutting out image.  Find a photo and cut along the outline of the:
  • person,
  • people,
  • animal,
  • or item that you want to focus on.
Cut out at least three different, semi-large, photos this way.

After you have your photos cropped or cut out, sit down with your paper and begin arranging them in a collage.  For the best clean and simple scrapbooking look, you will want to have plenty of larger, unedited pictures as well.  Arrange the photos in your desired layout, and then use your double sided stick tape to tape each photo in place.

This will create unique, stylish collages that will be added together in a book.  If you are using a three ring binder, make sure to invest in page protectors to preserve your work.  Clean and Simple Scrapbooking is one of the easiest, and most budget friendly type of scrapbook designs available.  Have fun with your photos and your layouts, tape in pictures crooked, or with jagged edges.  As long as you have a backup of all your photos, experiment and enjoy your clean and simple scrapbooking.
